Rehau strengthens retail presence get closer to consumers to grow at 20% CAGR by 2020

REHAU India, a leading system and service provider for polymer-based solutions in Windows, Furniture & Building Industry, shared plans to further strengthen its retail presence to bring good living to Indian consumers and enhance its brand presence in India. The company will introduce new formats of retail experience centres, bringing it closer to its customers. These include; REHAU Shoppe (showcasing select range of Furniture Solutions), REHAU Concepts (shopin-shopconcept) and REHAU Design Studio (standalone REHAU experience centre). 

REHAU Shoppe is a 100 sq feet display showcasing select range of  Furniture Solutions (Roller Shutter, Laminates, Mineral & Flooring)REHAU Concepts is a 500 Sq feet area in a shopinshop concept showcasing the complete range of of Furniture Solutons (Solid Surface, Flooring, Pre-laminated Boards & Laminates, Roller Shutters, Edgebands, Weaving material) and REHAU Design Studiois 1000 sq feet exclusive showcasewith thcomplete range of product solutions (Window, Doors and Plumbing Solutions).

In early 2018, the company launched REHAU Inspiration Express, a unique mobile experiential showcase, encompassing the entire range of ADVANCED LIVING SOLUTIONS, from Furniture, Windows Solutions, Building Solutions tgive first-hand experience to Architects, Interior DesignersConsultants, Contractors, Craftsmen and Consumers. In less than a year since its launch, it has covered 19 states and 80 citiesIt will continue to further travel into Indian cities and towns until April 2019

Mr. Ajay Khurana, Chairman, REHAU South Asiasaid, “With changing times, increased product portfolio and consumer awareness, we felt a need gap to reach out directly to customerswho can touch and feel the product before buyingWe are taking several initiatives to strengthen our brand in the B2C segment, along with having a strong foothold in the B2B space, through an extended team of channel partners.”

Sharing plans for 2019, he further added, “For our Windows Solutions category, we expect to appoint atleast 10 new fabricators over the next few months, in addition to 35 existing fabricators. For Furniture Solutions, we will expand into new geographies to penetrate into Tier II & Tier III cities.”

REHAU has a strong focus on ‘Made in India’‘Made for India’ offering customised solutions for Indian consumers across Furniture, Windows and Building solutions. It has two operational plants in Pune since 2001 (manufacturing edgebands, various rigid profiles, profiles for windows and doors & various industrial solutions) and a third in Vadodara, Gujarat for Edgebands and new products such as RAURAIL – 3rd Rail production.

Architects continue to be a key audience for REHAU. The company will deepen its engagement with architects by participating in industry forums such as FOAID, IndiaWood, WADE etc. and by curating outreach platforms to further build brand affinity.
