Fbb Colors Femina Miss India 2019, Journey to finale begins

This was an evening of glitz and glamour and the occasion announced  selection of finalists from seven states of North Zone i.e. Miss India Uttar Pradesh, Miss India Punjab, Miss India Himachal Pradesh, Miss India Madhya Pradesh, Miss Uttarakhand, Miss India Haryana and Miss India Delhi who will represent their state at the Grand Finale which is going to be held in Mumbai on 15 June.

FBB COLORS FEMINA MISS INDIA has provided a unique platform to aspiring models to showcase their talent and in the same breath, the enterprise is all set to host its forthcoming pageant that will see beauties from all across India strutting down the ramp and win coveted crowns for vivid categories. FBB COLORS FEMINA MISS INDIA 2019 co-powered by Sephora and Rajnigandha Pearls is dedicated to continuing with its tradition of giving wings to the aspirations of women who want to make it big in the world of glamour and represent the country on the world forum.  In past six Miss worlds have made their presence felt at global map and made India proud, Reita Faria (1966), Aishwarya Rai Bachchan (1994), Diana Hayden (1997), Yukta Mookhey (1999), Priyanka Chopra (2000) and no recently Manushi Chhillar Miss World (2017), who brought the coveted crown back home after seventeen years. Now the hunt is own for the next crown bearer. The glamorous ceremony wrapped up with style and aplomb in Gurgaon at The Orana Conventions being the venue partner besides Roseate hotels and Resorts playing host for hospitality partner.

The Judges for the evening were Bollywood actress Dia Mirza, Actor, and former model Rahul Dev, Film actress Minissha Lamba, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Model and beauty pageant titleholder, Gayatri Bhardwaj, FBB Colors Femina Miss India United Continents 2018.

Speaking to us about the event North Zone Mentor Dia Mirza stated,” I am very happy to see that deserving faces will get to represent their respective stated at the grand finale. As a mentor to North and South Zone for Miss India 2019, I will be looking out for individuality and women who care, who know their hearts, minds and are seeking to widen their horizons.”

All contestants had to go through two rounds which included FBB Collection that showcased casuals to Bohemian silhouettes, playful prints, Indo fusion range of stylish work wear which boasted freedom, fun, and fashion.  Girls also carried exquisite Ceriz handbags while showcasing the collection.

Round two was all about Abhishek Sharma Vana collection which represented fleeting shadows, and virtual hues of nature.

Gala evening was hosted by Indian host, singer and film actress, Sophie Choudary, who wears multiple hats of an actress, former MTV India VJ  a model and a successful television presenter in India.

Recent singing sensation, actor and former cricketer Harrdy Sandhu, kept the audience hooked with his foot tapping hits. Adding a dose of glamour to the evening were enthralling acts of entertainment and live dance performance by Zenith Dance Troup.

Divya Khanna is the youngest member of the team, with a background in political science. She has joined High on persona print magazine in order to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of editorial coordination as associate editor of the magazine and news site.
