adidas and Manchester United launch Ultraboost inspired by the Lancashire Rose, and to commemorate United’s first FA Cup win
adidas reveals an exclusive Ultraboost shoe in partnership with Manchester United.
Harnessing the power of authentic collaborations and celebrating Manchester United’s heritage; adidas launches an iteration of the Ultraboost inspired by the red Lancashire rose, with detailing on the tongue and in-sole, as well as wording on the cage.
It also marks the celebration of 110 years since the club’s first FA Cup win and takes design inspiration from the red rose on the shirt worn by United during the Final. The team beat Bristol City to lift the trophy back in 1909, with a first-half goal from Sandy Turnbull clinching victory.
There is a limited edition Ultraboost that will include a red rose print and emblem on the tongue. The fact behind this limited edition shoe is that Manchester United played in a white jersey with red rose during the FA Cup final in 1909 and won the series for the first time.
The shoe, in limited quantities, will be available at select stores in Delhi NCR(Promenade, Ambience Mall, Mall of India and CP E block), Mumbai(Linking Road, Phoenix Mall, Colaba and Market City), Chennai(Adi- Express avenue) and Bengaluru(Brigade Road and Orion Mall) on the 16th of August, 2019
