Indian Ocean Band to perform at the salt food festival
The much-talked-about Salt Food Festival, which begins tomorrow at Hotel Clarks Amer will also have a colourful melange of music and live entertainment. The 2-day mega food festival has a musical line-up which includes one of the spearheads in the rock music scene, Indian Ocean. The band will be presenting contemporary fusion music with jazz-laced rhythms on 21 October evening. Similarly, the band ‘Ankur & The Ghalat Family’ will be performing, Urdu and Hindi easy acoustic ballads, folk-rock and rock n roll tomorrow (20 October) evening. This was informed by organiser, Ms. Divolka Jain. The festival has been organized in association with Gyanjee caterers.
The festival will also witness ‘Silent Disco’ on 20 October evening for the first time in the Pink City. Here, people will be able to dance to music on wireless headphones. Also on the occasion, a few local bands will be performing. The festival aims to provide these artistes with a platform to showcase their talent.
It is to be recalled that the Salt Food Festival will feature alluring workshops by celebrity chefs, more than 30 pop-ups by food giants from around the country and abroad as well as Market by home chefs and much more. A large number of people are coming from other parts of the country to attend the festival.
