YouTuber Sahil Khattar to make a Khattarnaak Bollywood debut with 83 the film as Syed Kirmani.
YouTuber-TV and Sports Anchor, Sahil Khattar, who recently anchored Pro Wrestling League, will soon make a rather historic debut in Bollywood. He will essay the role of the iconic bald and beautiful Syed Kirmani. Syed Kirmani was one of the biggest instrumentalists in India’s First World Cup win in 1983. He’s been the most Iconic wicket-keeper India’s ever seen and to essay the role of this historic role model, Sahil Khattar is undergoing rigorous training of cricket and fitness.
Sahil has been a Bronze medalist for India in the Asian Games in Roller Hockey, so while fitness has never been an issue, wicket-keeping will be a different ball game. Sahil on bagging the role, said, “There is no perk without a quirk and Mr. Syed Kirmani is quirkiness personified. So while essaying the role will come naturally to me, wicket-keeping needs a higher level of fitness and that’s why the regimes that I’ve been following are in sync with the look and feel of his character.” For those of you who don’t know, Syed Kirmani won the award Best Wicket Keeper in 1983’s world cup
83 is a biopic made on the life of cricketer Kapil Dev. Ranveer Singh is going to play the role of Kapil Dev. Movie is titled as 83 because Indian Cricket team won ICC World Cup in 1983 under the captaincy of Kapil Dev. The movie will be directed by Kabi Khan, who is famous for movie like New York, Ek tha Tiger, Bajrangi Bhaijan and Phantom.
Ranveer Singh seemed all up for the movie and said,”I was born at the time when cricket was big time. When Kabir Sahab (director Kabir Khan) had come to me and said that there will be a film on 83, I was like finally. And when he was narrating it to me, I was like woooh. Moreover, Kapil Dev, himself is going to train Ranveer Singh for the role. The film is expected to be released by April, 2020.
