Ronit Vohra is ecstatic after debut single crosses 1.25L views
Singer Ronit Vohra is on cloud nine after the response of his debut Punjabi single Jane Na Tu. The singer says that people are loving the number. “The feedback is really nice. People are loving the song. They feel it’s soulful, beautiful, heart touching and soothing to the ears. It has reached 1.25L views in less than a week,” he says.
Talking about the process of penning the song, he says, “I wrote this song back in college. I always wanted to compose a Punjabi love song and I think that particular thought really helped me in writing it. Also, this is the first Punjabi song that I have done. My aunt (Bua) Geetu Puri who is a trained classical singer and helped me with the song a lot.”
He adds, “I have done the composition myself. The music arrangement has been done by Himonshu Parikh.”
The single has been shot in the outskirts of Russia, in Kyrgyzstan. Devirosh films, Zee Music Company, Pratap Harish(directors) and Halina(model) have collaborated for the number.
Shooting the number was quite challenging, says Ronit. “During our video shoot, Kyrgyzstan was freezing cold. The temperature was -2 degrees and I had to wear sleeveless t-shirts in the video. It was challenging yet an amazing experience for me,” he adds.
Talking about his future plans, Ronit says, “I have started working on my next music single. I am planning to release a lot of music singles this year. I have also planned to get into playback this year.”
