Hubby Ravi Dubey takes Insta route to shower praises on wife Sargun Mehta
Ravi Dubey was born in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. Ravi was brought up in Delhi but he relocated to Mumbai to pursue telecom engineering.
However, midway through his academic pursuits, Ravi started modeling for various frontline products like Nestle, TVS Victor, etc. It was only natural that he would graduate to acting. Ravi began his acting career in 2006 with a parallel role to the protagonist in the DD National TV show Stree… Teri Kahaani and followed it up with roles in comparatively insipid shows like Doli Saja Ke (2007) and Yahan Ke Hum Sikandar (2007).
Ravi went on to star in the popular family dramas Saas Bina Sasural (2010) and Jamai Raja (2014), which established him as one of the most dependable leading actors of the Indian television industry. Recently, he also hosted Star Plus’s game show Sabse Smart Kaun.
On the personal front, Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta have been a much-talked-about couple of the television industry ever since they started dating. And not without reason though. Their love story and strong support for each other through the highs and lows have been highly appreciated by everyone in the industry.
Right from their first TV show together ‘12/24 Karol Bagh”, the couple have been in the news. Subsequently, Sargun went on to do Punjabi films where she tasted success.
Sargun’s Punjabi film, Angrez, has won accolades from the masses and classes alike. Her latest film, Kala Shah Kala, is also in the process of winning lots of appreciation. Another feather was added to Sargun’s cap when she won the Flag of Alberta Award by Christina Gray, Alberta’s Minister of Labour and Democratic Renewal, for her contribution to International cinema. Naturally, the couple was overjoyed upon receiving this honor.
Ravi took to Instagram to express and share his joy with everyone. He wrote: “Your achievements are the medals on my chest, Sargun.” He further said, “Since the day you have come in my life, I have just gotten luckier by the second.”
