Ofcourse I repeat my shades & dress – Ranveer Singh
It may seem that Ranveer Singh is ruling the headlines at the moment but that’s not true. Ranveer has been the talk of the town because of his unconventional dressing sense for quite some time. He has practically built a cult following singularly for his sartorial trend. He has successfully created a fan following in the film industry exclusively on the basis of his dressing sense. In this context, Karan Johar during one of the episodes of his show “Koffee With Karan” had said that most of Ranveer’s clothes are actually his (Karan’s).
Speaking on this, Karan admitted that he didn’t have the courage or panache to carry such unconventional clothes and, hence, he gave them away to Ranveer. The latter is very active on his Instagram account posting frequent pictures for his fans dressed in such extraordinary attires.
Under the circumstances a question arises: Does Ranveer ever repeat his dresses? When asked about this, the actor said, “come on what are you talking about? Of course, I repeat my shades. I have also repeated many of my clothes. I think if you like some dress, you should wear it without putting in too much thought into it.”
Alia Bhat, the heroine of Gully Boy, who was present with Ranveer at the venue, said repeating one’s clothes is actually a good thing to do. “In fact, Ranveer has a great sense of colour. He mixes and matches the colours very intelligently and has influenced me a great deal in my understanding of how to combine them in my everyday dressing. Lately, because of him, I’ve started experimenting a lot with colours,” Alia added.
It should be noted that their film, Gully Boy, has had a grand opening in the theatres. It has broken multiple records already in the first few days after its release. The film collected a record Rs 32.50 crore at the box office in just two days, breaking several records.
While promoting Gully Boy, Ranveer is also preparing for 83, the movie being made on India’s triumph in Cricket World Cup in 1983 under the captainship of the legendary Kapil Dev. At the moment the casting of 83 is being finalised. Recently, it was announced that Tahir Bhasin will be enacting the role of Sunil Gavaskar while Ranveer will portray the role of skipper Kapil Dev. Here it should be noted that Ranveer’s last release Rohit Shetty’s Simmba collected a whopping Rs 200 crore at the box office.
