Nothing better than a movie on a cricket legend Kapil dev could be for a Heartthrob Harrdy Sandhu to debut with as he himself wanted to become cricketer in his initial career. He played Ranji cricket for Punjab but something else was predestined and stored for him, he couldn’t pursue his cricket career and give up in 2007 because of an elbow injury and that compelled him to opt out his second love which was singing. Although During his cricket days he shared a room with Shikhar Dhawan and practiced with Ishant Sharma and Legend Sachin sir. His singing career started with Tequila shot but he got Guernsey with Ballad Soch for movie Airlift and after that, he didn’t look back and made her fans enthralled with his chartbusters no.
Being a multifaceted person he tried his histrionics skills in Punjabi movies like Yaaran Da Katchup, Mahi NRI, also. Now he is ready to make his foray into Bollywood with a movie titled 1983, Kind of debut he is ready to make is a matter of envy for the contemporaries. The movie is based on cricket legend Kapil Dev and it’s been directed by Kabir Khan who is renowned in the industry for making movies like Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Ek Tha Tiger, Kabul Express and more.
Excited about his Bollywood debut, Harrdy Sandhu said, “A good singer can express well, acting is about expressions, physiognomy and countenance and transporting audiences into another world in which they can correlate with the character at ease. I am excited to be a part of Kabir Khan’s movie which represents Indian Cricket.”
