Stars of Bhakharwadi, met with fans in national capital

Actors Deven Bhojani, Paresh Ganatra, Akshay Kelkar and Akshita Mudgal visit Delhi to meet their fans. 

A day well spent with fans – this was indeed an unusual and exciting day for the fans of new entertainer series Bhakarwadi.

The day was chosen by the makers to express gratitude to the fans and celebrate the stupendous success of family entertainer series, Bhakarwadi. To mark the occasion and spread happiness a meet and greet with fans was organised by the makers of the serial.

Sony SAB’S new family entertainer has been receiving  overwhelming response from viewers . The story runs against the backdrop of Pune and depicts ideological differences of a Marathi and Gujarati Family, both families are seen competing with each other on business front and the sequence of events become more interesting as they try to outdo each other in a very hilarious way. Turns and twists in the show and tricks played by these families to retain loyalty of their customers has been portrayed in a very soft yet funny manner. Show is proving to be successful and stars can’t stop feeling ecstatic about it. As They were upbeat and deeply moved by the love they received in short stint they took up the opportunity to get closer to their fans. Cast of the show also enjoyed munching lip smacking delicacies and street food of Delhi. Their love for street food of Delhi was evident as they had plateful to their heart’s content. They dug into interesting combinations of food and even tried Bhakarwadi of Delhi, while comparisons were being drawn with the taste of Bhakarwadi from Gujrat.

Series has been produced by JD Majethia and Aatish Kapadia and stars talented actors like Deven Bhojani and Paresh Ganatra who are seen sharing the screen together after a long time gap.  

Deven Bhojani, essaying the role of Anna informed, “The amount of love and appreciation we have got from Delhi is really heart-warming.It’s amazing how the audience has loved our show and have even related to the characters. We are all very excited to visit Delhi and meet all the lovely people here.”

Paresh Ganatra, playing the role of Mahendra Thakkar said, “Working for Bhakharwadi is an amazing experience in itself and it’s lovely to see that our viewers have appreciated our work too. The fact that they are able to relate to our characters is itself a big compliment. We’re super excited to visit Delhi to meet our fans there and spend some fun time with them.”

Akshay Kelkar, playing the role of Abhishek said,“Bhakharwadi is one of the best things that has happened to me as I get to work with such talented artists and also have been receiving immense love from all over the country. We are all set to have a crazy time with our fans in Delhi and to go around the interesting lanes and markets of the city.

Akshita Mudgal, playing the role of Gayatri said, “I am enjoying being a part of Bhakharwadi and am glad to see that the viewers have been appreciating the hard work that we are putting in. I am full of enthusiasm to witness the madness amongst Delhiites and also am craving to try the very famous ChholeBhature and other street food of Delhi.’

Bringing in the special essence of relationships and family with tongue-in-cheek humour, Bhakharwadi brings together some of the popular and talented actors from Gujarati and Marathi film industry.
