Photo Exhibition at Museum of legacies, Jaipur
As a culmination of the 10 Heritage Photo Walks held throughout Jaipur, a 3-day photo exhibition was inaugurated at the Museum of Legacies today. The exhibition was inaugurated by well-known photographer, Mr. Sudhir Kasliwal. Moreover, the event was held in collaboration with Department of Archaeology and Museums, Jaipur Photographers’ Club and Jaipur Mera Shehar.
On the occasion, Mr. Kasliwal said that the exhibition is a very good effort in encouraging and inspiring budding photographers. It is very heartening to see so many young photographers are getting involved in this creative hobby.
As many as 60 photographs from 500 entries clicked by around 100 Jaipur photographers were exhibited in the galleries. These photographs were a result of the various photo walks that were organised at different archaeological sites in Jaipur. These sites included Amer Fort, Albert Hall, Jantar Mantar, Nahargarh Fort, Panna Meena Kund, among others.
Noteworthy, the exhibition will be on till 6 October from 11 am to 8 pm. Also, an award ceremony for the selected photographs will be held on Saturday, 6 October evening at Albert Hall Museum.
Curator, Museum of Legacies, Ms. Apurba Roy Choudhury and Founder of the Jaipur Photographers’ Club, Mr. Anil Khubani were also present on the occasion.
